Highland Valley Ranch Company Picnic
Dave & Molly Bejent, friends of mine from TX have a ranch in Ramona, CA.
They had their 1st annual Horseshoe Tournament today. What fun their employees & friends had.
It's here, also that Patrick has begun the Highland Valley Art Studios for local artists to gather & paint.
 
     
  

My friend Cindy from OR happened to be in town for a conference, so she enjoyed the day with us.
She & Olivia loved the hammock swings!
      
Laurel chat w/ Patrick.  Brad enjoys seeing Laurel after 20+ yrs. She used to babysit him in TX!
   
The teams were decided, the tourney begins.

Nana went to visit the Fowler's for 10 days. I couldn't believe that it was snowing when I arrived.
I thought of Dad when I saw this quail sitting on the fence.
   
I was lucky enough to see Jacob play his last tournament hockey game. How exciting that was!
Jacob looks so big with all the padding needed.   Riley had to show off how good she lookied in a hockey shirt, too!
    
Some of the pics are fuzzy, but the action was quick! Jacob is #16 and he got the puck!  Proud Dad watches nearby
   
   

Here's the back & side view of the new home the Fowler's have recently moved into. It's just down the street & still on the same pond and has all the wildlife surrounding them. They are adding a room in the garage for NaNa to live in!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RILEY!
Riley wanted to go to "Hand's On Art" for her birthday so that's what we did.
After the firing, our projects looked pretty cool!
    
    
She got some horse decals for the walls in her new room,
and NaNa got her a comfy chair & soft blanket for a reading corner to snuggle in.

          
Emily volunteers at the hospital one day a week.
   

Riley started playing soccer this year. She is so fast and really has fun.
   

I fly back to San Diego and start packing to move out of the motorhome.
It's time to begin a new chapter in my life.
