The Nomadic NaNa
November 2008

All three girls and their families gather at the Fowler residence
in Coeur d'Alene, ID for Thanksgiving week.
NaNa cherished having her grandchildren together to love & play with.

Before that..........

Marc Inman is visiting. Jacob & Riley love his attention.
He practices his fly fishing skills in the pond behind the house.

Riley and her friend Catherine tease Marc......"you can't get us!"
Marks accepts the girl's challenge.  Here you go!  OK, I'm getting tired.  Out you go!
The girls put on a dance show for us.

Unfortunately, she was unable to make it there. But her team-mates went

The Handley's arrive from San Diego!

Handley's Arrive in Coeur d'Alene
Olivia played in the "Kid's Cupboard", Emily & Laurel enjoyed the weather
while "catching up with the news" in the back yard.
Olivia plays in the kid's cupboard.   Emily & Laurel in the back yard.

Olivia couldn't keep her hands off the kittys. Below, she pets Chloe, then kisses her.
 Hi Kitty!
   I Love You Kitty
We went to one of Riley's hockey games that afternoon.
She's the only girl on this team & is just learning how to play.
All considering, she does a great job keeping up with the boys!

The twins....the twins being cross-eyed silly!

The Runyan's arrive from Oakland !

Riley's kitchen cupboard was a big hit with her cousins.

Wednesday morning Tara, Laurel & I took Julia & Olivia to a nearby park.

Later, some of us went for a stroll in downtown Coeur d'Alene stopping at the buffalo sculpture for a picture.

Tristan watches Jacob & Yale playing ball outside.
So Nana gets him bundled up and out we go!

Tristan adored his cousin Jacob!  Jacob loved Tristan!

Funny how simple cardboard boxes can be so entertaining!

Thanksgiving morning, NaNa made her well-loved cinnamon rolls that Grandma Edith always made on holidays.
Before the crowds came over, Yale found a quiet moment to read & relax while waiting for the rolls.

The boys watched football and played a computer game.
The kids worked on art projects, then got bundled up and went to the park.

By the time the turkey was done, everyone was ready to eat!

TaDa.........Happy Thanksgiving Everybody!
