I flew into Manchester Monday at 5pm. Debi picked me up in her purple PT Cruiser with the top down!
I was lucky to catch Dawn before she left to return to Orono Maine where she & Kale now reside while he's in school there.
Doty keeps busy as usual helping maintain their cute home and caring for the dogs.

The next day, I went to visit the shop. Below, Jim takes another job on the phone while Elliot chats during lunch time,
so does Debi! Thankfully, both are healthy and Debi remains cancer-free. I had a wonderful visit with them.

I met up with my high school girl-friend Janine in Concord NH. I'll stay with her in Enfield NH most of my 3 week visit.
Below are Wally & Janine and Rachel, Wally's Mom & Toby who works at Brownies Auto.

These are some oak leaves in Janine's yard. The fall colors are just beginning to change!

Lots of wild turkeys live in the area around her house. I see them nearly every day in one spot or another.

Wally manages the Canaan Dirt Speedway and was watering the track Thursday before the Friday race.
Unfortunately, it rained out that week. The final races were re-scheduled in Oct.
I'm amazed at how much day-to-day work is involved for he & Janine during race season.

Janine's only an hour south of E. Brookfield, so I have a quick drive to visit family there, too!
I drove up to the Beehive for the weekend,
making a stop to visit Mom, Dad & Glyneta
with my personal chatter
& some new plants.
I was so comforted telling Glyneta how happy I was
to be seeing her daughter, Sarah, that night.
I miss Glyneta and her absence has left such a void
in the communications with her children.
I paid my respects to Grandma Ruie, Grandpa Leonard & Great Grand-parent Angell's.

My heart always warms when I see the old Farnsworth farm along Rt 14 where Dad grew up
& where we spent many happy times in our growing years.

Sarah, her boyfriend Josh & I spent Sat. night at Jon & Alison's in their log cabin at the top of East Hill.
We had a good visit, a comfortable place to rest and a good breakfast in the morning.
What a breathtaking view from their upstairs bedroom window!

The view from my upstairs bedroom was awesome.

Early Sunday morning, Jon was busy loading & moving thier final loads of wood for the coming winter.

Before going to church for Cameron's christening, Sarah, Josh & I stopped at the Floating Bridge.
"Thank You" Sarah & Josh, for taking the time from your busy schedule to re-connect with all of us.

Then on to the church.........to join the Farnsworth Family.

Cameron James Farnsworth was christened at the Pond Village Chruch where Mary & Woody attend while in VT.
Rev. Neil Carr and the small group of regular church attendees welcomed
all the family members
from both sides who attended the precious ceremony. In fact, the service that day encompassed the preciousness of new birth & family.
He is Sherward & Mary's 2nd great-grandson. Grandparents are Jim & Gretchen and parents are Christopher & Amanda.

Afterwards at the Beehive, we all had a chance to meet new in-laws, to chat with family and share a wonderful pot-luck dinner.

Aunt Lou was thrilled to see Sarah again.

Mary's new kitty, Julia, is absolutely gorgeous. A "fat cat" who is fluffy, elusive and playful!
As I'd hoped, Mary & Woody treated me to another memorable 'Chicken Pie Dinner"! Oh....it was soooo good.
It was at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Montpelier, VT. (Above, next to Mary is the church's Pastor, Becca Clark)

This is a picture of Owen & Beth from Dec. of 2005.
I met them for delicious gourmet dinner and a really good visit, but we were so engrossed in our conversation,
I forgot to take pictures! Beth's 92 yr old Dad had just days ago broken both his right hip and his right arm.
Needless to say, both have many challenges ahead helping him recover.

Jim & Gretchen invited me to dinner and to spend the night with them. What a wonderful home they have.
I feel so blessed to have such a welcoming family. Thanks so much for your hospitality and
"Congratulations in the birth of your very first grand-child!

Leaving their house the next morning it was overcast, but the colors were amazing.

After a good morning visiting with Woody & thrift store shopping with Mary I took a picture of the peak VT colors at the Beehive.
I stopped to chat with Aunt Elaine & Uncle Howard at the Veteran's Cemetery, on my way back to Enfield.
I told them how excited I was to be meeting their first great-grandchild, Alana Rose, soon.
