The second photo was taken when George & Sadie went back to Michigan for a reunion after many years of separation. This would be the last visit the three brothers:
Harold, John & George would have together.

Dan & I went to Michigan in August 1998. What a wonderful visit with relatives that Dan hadn't seen for many, many years and some of whom I'd never met!.

How beautiful it was to picnic on the shores of Lake Michigan and watch the serene sunset. Then, of course, we had to run fast from the mosquitoes!
