November 2002
Our first night out, we "boondocked" in an area called Harris Ranch.
They had a huge lot where truckers & travelers could find some respite from their driving.

11/5/02 - Then we ambled north towards Oakland to visit Marc & Tara
and see the work they'd done on the new home.

11/6/02 - Ashland, OR
As you can see, we're nestled in amongst the trees
and Glenyan Campground even has a
covered bridge & duckpond
11/9/02 - Sutherlin, OR
Oak Hill Golf Club & RV Resort offered us
misty mountain mornings and rainbows.
11/13/02 - Colburg, OR
Cindy & Mark Stribling

Good to see old friends from TX again!

Portland's "Saturday Market"
which is underneath the
Burnside Bridge happens regardless of weather.
We prefer sunshine & warmth

Hawthorne Bridge & Portland skyline

And we did finally have beautiful, sunny, warm day
on Nov. 20, so we enjoyed walking down
Portland's West Side "River Walk".
Ten bridges span over the Columbia River into Portland.

11/14/02-11/22/02
We arrived in Portland, OR and decided ot stay for a week to get some work projects completed. In between work, we enjoyed the beautiful sunsets & city sights.

We arrived at Dan's brother acreage in Olympia, WA on Friday Nov. 22nd. Nice to be out in the country again.
Chuck's property is a beautiful, wooded lot. Dan managed to find a break in the trees allowing us to receive the signal from the satellite and we are once again grateful for the technology allowing us to take our business on the road.

Chuck's lady friend, Val

As you can see,
the brothers are enjoying being together
.

Chuck Neuman

On an misty afternoon walk, we discovered a cute cabin on a beautiful lot that has potential for retirement property! But, the winter weather here is a bit much for these warm-blooded Californians. It's been quite a while since Dan could see his breath!

A favorite place to gather - in Adele's kitchen

We entertained ourselves with a game & good conversation in
the "Garden Room" while the aroma of Thanksgiving filled our senses.
