We arrived in San Diego on Apr 2nd. Our spot at Santee Lakes is awesome. With a view right onto one of the lakes......who could ask for more? How wonderful to see our CA family again.
Not to mention Devon and his new dog Rusty & Laurel's growing belly. Devon's getting Baby Olivia's room ready!
         

   
See Roberta, Patrick & Loretta again was great, too. What a pretty garden she has.

Sunday April 16th, 2006
Chuck arrives from Washington to help with repairs on our rental houses.
Their parent's property was repainted and it looks fantastic!

     
Our property needs much more attention......
The fence was replaced along one side, the rotting patio was taken down, the spa removed (a honey bee hive was growing under it's deck) and after the tenants leave, the inside will have to be renewed.
  
  
  
Dan & Chuck spent a hard working 2 weeks.....we still have lots more to do, but the hard stuff is done.

With Tara & Emily, we went to the local Farmer's Market for flowers for the Baby Shower.
While dropping them off at Roberta's, Julia & Riley had fun playing together again.

Laurel's Baby Shower
Friends & family gather to help Laurel celebrate the birth of her new daughter. She's due May 26th.

What's this hanging around? Baby undershirts to paint, of course!

How I love being with my three beautiful daughters. I had a chance to see Darcy for a bit, too!
  

It was a fun baby shower and the three sisters loved being together again.

Before Tara left town, They went through the 3 large suitcases she'd brought filled with baby stuff.

Pacific Beach
While visiting San Diego, Jacob & Riley had a ball running on the beach!
 
   
That night we all met at the Olive Garden for a good dinner.

HAPPY 6TH BIRTHDAY RILEY
   
NaNa & Grandpa Dan's birthday gifts were all related to cooking.
Riley loves to help Mommy in the kitchen. Now she has her own tools.  New chef in the family!
  

 
Life is good. I'm back to work on Northern Rose's new catalogs & webpages,
Dan's getting caught up with business after 2 weeks of "hard manual labor"
and soon it's time for our annual Dr. visits. Thankfully, we are both in good health!

Next month, Baby Olivia arrives and NaNa gets to spend lots of time welcoming her into our world.
Grand-daughter Lily arrives June 27 for a 3 week travel visit. What fun!
