The
Nomadic Neuman's
December 2007

Sat 12/1/07
We drove into San Diego and there
was a heart-lifting rainbow waiting for us
as we drove into Santee Lakes Campground. I was especially thrilled
to be back near my family.
This group of pelicans fly in each
early morning to fish for food.
I watch them right from our front window on my peaceful mornings.

Sun. Dec 2, 2007
Laurel, Devon & Olivia came
to vist NaNa & PaPa!
Of course, NaNa had been collecting all sorts of "goodies"
for Olivia. So she immediately removed her shoes to try on her
new froggy boots.......as you can see, she loved them!
Then she had to try on all the clothes. What fun PaPa had helping
her.

Santee
Lakes has lots of interesting places to walk to so off we went
for some fun & exercise.
First we fed the ducks some bread.

Then
we stopped at one of the playgrounds. Whee........

No
Daddy, I don't want to stop swinging! OK, let's play in the leaves.

"........It
is not the world that needs peace; it is people.
When people in the world are at peace within, the world will be
at peace."
Prem
Rawat, widely known as Maharaji

Dec
7th & 8th, 2007
A friend from the 70's in Ft. Collins, CO and his wife, Gerry
& Pamela, came to
San Diego from Seattle WA for a celebration at the convention
center for Prem Rawat, Maharaji.
Many of you who knew me from then, will remember that in 1971,
Steve & I discovered Maharaji in our searches into spirituality.
It was a very enlightening time in our lives and certainly had
a profound affect on our inner peace.
What a special week-end I had visiting with Gerry & Pamela
and hearing Maharaji's teachings again.

Over the next few weeks, Olivia & I were together a couple
days a week. Always a thrill for NaNa.
We went walking to discover all sorts of fun things like running
back & forth over the bridge listening to footsteps, climbing
up & down, up & down, up & down over and over, coloring
at the motorhome w/ PaPa, and playing games on NaNa's computer.
Of course, each time we were together we had to feed the ducks
and throw rocks to see how far Olivia could throw and to giggle
& watch the splashes. |

On
my way to visit Barbara & Merle Fowler, I stopped by the Blum
property on Sycamore Creek Rd. where Dad used to live. That area
was devastated by the recent fires.......the Blums home &
property burnt to the ground.
How very sad for them. How grateful I was that Dad didn't have
to go through that.
On
the right below is what's left of the Ranger Station on the way
to the Blum property. |

Roberta & I took a day trip out to Julian and stopped at the
Begent's new 35 acre ranch in Ramona.
I hadn't seen Dave & Mollie in a very long time so it was
great to visit. Their ranch is awessome!
