The Nomadic Neuman's
January 2006

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
This month is being spent getting caught up.

Dan gets his computers upgraded and optimized, continues to help his clients as they need him
and works on our continuous household chore of re-organizing our "stuff" and coach maintainence.
Leanne is busy working on Northern Rose's new 2006 catalogs, contacting our other clients to see how they are doing, and cleaning the non-stop "dust-bunnies" that find their way into our small abode. No surgery needed!

Occasionally, we take a few hours to enjoy the area.
This is Perdido Key. A quiet & beautiful key that still shows remnants of Hurricane Ivan from 2004.

Below, we drive through the key. Several sections of the road were simpy gone.
It's amazing to see how the hurricane just lifted the pavement up and relocated it!
Now it gathers sand hills on the sides of the road, waiting for the eventual clean-up & repair.

The local wildlife even enjoys a stroll and leaves pawprintson the warm beaches!

Devon & Laurel find out "It's a Girl"!
Half way through the pregnancy.
Laurel is "glowing" and their tiny little girl is already becoming the sunshine of their lives.

The ultrasound technician said she is 6 inches from head to rump,
with another 3-4 inches for her legs and she weighs 15 ounces. Amazing.

I collected sand & shells when on a walk with Owen & Beth.
Then sent them with a shadow box frame to Riley.
She & friend Anaka had fun playing with the shells, listening for the ocean and filling the frame with sand & shells.

The Fowler's also adopted a dog, Arrow, from the Humane Society.
As you can imagine, the kids love him!

See February activities.
