The Nomadic Neuman's
January 2007

Most of Jan. was spent in Yuma, AZ travelling back & forth to San Diego for medical reasons.
I remained sick all month and was unable to visit with grand-daughter Olivia very much. But what a cutie she is!
Dan's spinal stenosis & sciatica caused him painful grief all month.

Quartzsite, AZ

Another visit to the RV Bookdocking Capital of the Southwest — Quartzsite, Arizona
It’s Nowhere, Arizona—until November. Then more than a million devotees of RVs
roll in from all over for gem shows, rv shows, swap meets, socializing, and the sunset-painted sky.

Lots of folks have solar panels on top of their rigs......below are friends' Bob & Linda's coach.

We boondocked further outside of town, on Plomosa Rd at Mile Marker 115.
Less congestion, and our small group parked in a circle around a campfire.
Everyone was a member of the Death Valley 49er's except us. A bonfire every night. I'm still sick, but recovering, finally.

One day, Alan made superb Clam Chowder for all.

Bob & Linda                                              Cheryl & Danny

Alan & Christy                                                        Judy & Galan

May & Dave                                                       Heidi & Walter

Friends from 2 yrs ago, May & Dave talked Dan into retro-fitting
one of his new cold-cathoed light systems for their coach!

Danny had to show us his collection of an offset group of the 49er's called the "Buzzards".

It was hard for May to resist "Stroking the Pecker"!

Thanks to All the 49er's for welcoming us into their group! Sure was fun.
