After the service, everyone headed to the East Brookfield Congregational Church.

The Brookfield Mason's graciously volunteered their time and expertise and prepared a delicious Chicken BBQ dinner, complete with potato salad & cole slaw, right in the church parking lot. "Many Thanks" to Roger Palmer, and his two friends. Aunt Lou provided the delicious pie assortment baked by the ladies at
the Brookfield Church in Pond Center.
And Tara, Laurel & Emily baked several batches of Dad's reknowned "Chocolate Chip Cookies".
Here's the recipe if you want it.

We had plenty of good help getting things ready.

It was a simple ceremony & a simple fare, something Dad would have loved.

Elliot did an incredible job organizing and putting together Dad's History for all to see.
Did you remember to sign the Guest Book? If not, please let Elliot know.

After the crowds dispersed, Debi & Elliot relaxed and enjoyed their time with the new 5th wheel.

Our family went back to Limehurst Lake for a pleasant afternoon.

Marc & Yale were good with taking turns with the girls watching the children!

In the evening, my high school friend, Janine came by for a visit.

Sunday everyone still in town had a fun time at the Beehive. What a view!
Uncle Sherward sure worked hard finishing his new addition, what a beautiful room!

It's just so wonderful to spend time with family.

What a special treat to see Ned again after so many years!
Nice to meet his wife Juno and little David, too. Baby Julia was held by one and all!

Dawn even spent some time with her boyfriend on the phone!

Thank You, Dear Family, for taking time from your busy schedules
to come to VT and join us in a celebration of Dad's life.
