10, 2005 We stopped in Kingman AZ to visit with Aaron Silvers and his family. We met Aaron on a turnout in ID along the Salmon River last year. He's a driver for Swift Trucking. Justin One of their new kittens Elizabeth & Aaron
![]() He took a day off and gave us a tour of a few of his favorite places in the area. ![]() Above is a panoramic view from the hillside above Kingman. Even in this hot & dry climate beautiful nature exists. He took us to this lovely natural spring that was crystal clear and sounds so refreshing.
You can see how clear the water is.....here are some tadpoles growing in the stream. And a beautiful blue dragonfly who let me take his picture.
|
We
also stopped and saw a Santa Fe train on display in the old part of town.![]() Thank you Aaron, for taking time from your busy schedule to show us around. June 11, 2005 Meteor Crater An impressive hole in the ground! Astronauts have come here for years to train for their space travel.
A piece of a meteor. Lots to discover about meteors in their museum.

| That
night we made it to Texola, OK. Not much around here! But, we had electricity for a/c to ease the discomfort of the heat & humidity that we seem to be following East. I am near completion on the new Northern Rose Catalog. ![]() |

16-22, 2005 Steeleville, MO Two years ago we stopped here and made friends with Bill Siems, the owner of Candy Cane RV Park and his good friend Skip who has Green's Canoe Rental & Campground. They both became clients and I developed both of their websites. This year they both had work again, waiting for us. With my other projects completed, camera in hand, and a notepad by my side, I began both projects. The RV Park website got a whole new look and is still under construction. Green's needed some price updating and all new pictures for their picture page. |
![]() Bill gave the kids lots of rides around the park! Green's newly built office after last year's fire.
|
These
are the biggest tadpoles I've ever seen! ![]() Here's a family all the way from Alaska taking a canoe trip down the Meramac River in 2 canoes and a kayak.
|
After a great visit and some more work completed for our MO friends, we
left Steeleville |
