The Nomadic Neuman's
May 2005 Travel Log

HAPPY "30th" BIRTHDAY EMILY & LAUREL !
Emily, Riley, good friend/neighbor Elizabeth & Rebecca and I went to Julian for the day.
What fun....we had an afternoon tea at the Bailey-King Historical House.

Rebecca & Riley learned how to hold their teacups like ladies!

May 10-15, 2005

Tara & Julia came for a visit. My, how baby Julia has grown and Tara's a natural Mom.
Grandpa Dan met Julia for the 1st time!

Walking around Santee Lakes with Jacob skateboarding.

Not too often you see Dan on a swing!

What fun to feed the ducks and see Mommy Duck feed her babies!
There were all ages of baby ducks around the lake.

Jacob thought it was great to climb in the middle

of a hollowed tree that was still alive!

We finally had a chance to see Laurel! She has been so very busy as an attorney.
(She loved holding precious Julia......I can tell from that look, another grandchild is in the "thinking" stage!
Don't expect me to do a hand-stand anymore!
They must have done 20 hand-stands for me trying to get the perfect picture.

I know, I know........but it's all about how precious life is.

Jacob watchs & learns new tricks at the skateboard park in Poway

While Julia watches the bugs and poses for silly NaNa!

Visiting Loretta who now happily resides with Roberta & Pat.
Pat's bronze sculpture's are gorgeous and you can see some boxes (that sometimes fill the house)
of porcelain figures for Northern Rose in the background.

I leave you with this beautiful photo taken by one of Tara's friends of the hillside off a CA highway.
