taking Riley to her gymnastic's class one day.
If only I were so limber again!

We
visited Loretta in her new condo then she took all of us out for a wonderful
luncheon.
 
Jacob &
Riley were both hesitant on their 1st day back to school.

girls get pretty......the boys are cool!

Visiting Marc & Tara in Oakland CA

This is a classic
pose for the new age, each at their own workstation.
 
We met Roger
& Ric for lunch on Sunday and had a good visit.

We had a wonderful dinner with John & Sharon Oksness in Luverne,
MN.
Later, Daughter Katy with her husband Mike and baby Eva Marie came to
visit.

After dinner,
Sharon showed us her gumball inventory room for their vending route.
Soon she began filling a baggie for Dan.
Dan was in
"7th Heaven" with his bag of assorted gumballs......Katy had
a cheekful too!
John had to chuckle as he showed us his gumball machines. |

Sharon &
John left for China the next day to visit their daughter Annie, who is
teaching there.
Here they are in Shanghai. It's a huge & busy city....quite different
from Luverne, MN.

Laurel emailed this picture of them dressed for a Halloween party!
October is nearly gone already. We leave Denver next week and head south
for warmer weather.
We plan to spend the Christmas holiday in Harlingen, TX .
