The Ocean Shores Home is complete
and on the market!

This view is from the Grand Canal side of the property
The meandering sidewalk is a wonderful addition to the landscape.
The front fountain adds a soothing sound as you walk the path.

Leanne flew to Manchester, NH for
Dawn's upcoming wedding and to visit with her high school friend,
Janine & husband, Wally. They live in Enfield, NH, have an
auto parts store and gave Leanne
a cute little VW Bug to use while she was staying on the east
coast.

Wally recently took over as promoter of the nearby Canaan Dirt
Racetrack
and these past couple of months have kept him busy with that responsibility!
Below, Jessie (who is temporarily residing w/ them) and Wally's
Mom, Rachel
volunteered their time to help out every Friday during the remaining
racing season.

In the "Pit", there's a lot of excitement before the
racing begins!
Janine signs in each & every driver and her son, Ryan, covers
a multitude of jobs around the pit.
Just before the race begins, Wally gives an encouraging chat to
the crews.

Sept. 15-16, 2007
I drive to E. Brookfield to visit
the Farnsworth Family.
Woody & Mary, the "Beehive", the deer and the view
of Camel's Hump welcome me once again.
Saturday we drive to Burlington and have a deicious seafood dinner
overlooking Lake Champlaine.
Then we stop in Shelburne to visit Greg, Ellen & Michael.
Greg updated us on his impressive train rooms.
A tour bus will soon be arriving to look at his incredible collection!

I'm
grateful to to have an opportunity to visit the cemetery where
Mom, Dad & Glyneta are buried.
Then we drove to Randolph Center to pay respect to Aunt Elaine
& Uncle Howard, too.

Sunday, we went to the Tunbridge Fair. It was fun to wander around,
see the antique schoolhouse and the "Old Timer's" skills
like weaving, cider pressing, pickling, making yarn, etc....

I stopped to visit with Jon & Alison. They invited me to a
wonderful steak dinner and we had a great visit.
I left the beautiful pond water lilies and headed for Medway Monday
morning.

Sept. 19-20, 2007
Leanne spends time visiting with
Dawn, Dotty, Debi & Elliot before the wedding crowds arrive.
Baking Dad's Chocolate Chip Cookies & Mom's English Toffee
Bars together
was a wonderful & warm experience.
I was sitting on the front porch taking pictures when Kale looks
up and asks "Why are you taking pictures of me??"
Dawn tells him he'd better get used to it! Aunt Leanne is always
taking pictures!

Thursday evening Elliot, Debi & I drove their 5th wheel out
to the Salisbury State Beach Campground
where Dawn & Kale were getting set up for their stay at the
beach. They had some peace & quiet to finish up their planning
for their personal & touching wedding ceremony in two days.

Sept.
21, 2007
Tara, Julia, Laurel, Olivia & Emily arrive and meet Mom at
the Knotty
Pine Motel.
We had some fun visiting before the wedding festivities began!
How I love spending time with them....

We went into a resale shop and I can see that the little girls
enjoy shopping as much as their Mom's!
Eventually, I realized the clerks were very nervous watching the
little ones get into everything,
so I took them outside and we walked to the coffee shop for juice
& iced coffee.
